This site is a great deal if you like make-up!
I said I would update my blog more, lately I havent had much to talk about. (a bit tired about politics, but I am sure something will get me going sooner or later!) So I thought that I would share with you some sites, once in a while, that I have gotten or do get good deals from. This site ELF (eyes, lips, face)is a makeup distributor and I once purchased 25 items for $38. Most of the items were $1 each and they were good quality items. Waterproof and smudgeproof! I am not selling them so dont feel obligated, just wanted to share cuz seriously if you ever wanted to try a certain makeup and it was too expensive in the stores then this is your chance because they will probably have it at a great price. It was so much fun when my daughter and I got a box of make-up and just started plowing through it like it was Christmas or something. (and I am not even really into make-up!LOL) So anyway, try it if you need something, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Have a great day everyone!

Our Texas Star - Elizabeth!
As many of you already know, our family has had a bit of hard times this year, with my car accident in March, John getting laid off in April, our AC going out on us in July and as of today someone just smashed into our brand new car. And of course, both of us not having much luck in the job market as of yet. We have however been able to manage to keep up with our responsibilities and even continue to allow our children to play sports.
Elizabeth, our 7yr old, is currently on an Academy soccer team and her fees are due each and every month, along with the team fees that she plays on each season and of course the occasional replacement of equipment and gear. John and I feel it is very important to have children that are involved in organized sports and physical activity. It has been found that participating with this type of activity allows children a great foot forward in a healthy adolescent and adult lifestyle by giving them a better sense of responsiblity, a improved physical well being and a greater sense of self worth. That of course leads to much success in school and any other future endevours. We have had the opportunity to see these facts be accurate with our oldest daughter Jessica, age 17. She played soccer from the time she was 6yrs old til just this year and she has been an excellent student and only the minor teenage aingst to show up so far!
So at this time we would like to request of our friends, family and anyone that enjoys this site or her player site http://www.kidssportsnet.com/soccer/sheraleemarshall/index.htm?1248934642 to help sponsor Elizabeth this year with her soccer fees. I have found an easy and painless way for you to do that, without you even having to donate any money at all. Below you will find some options of links/websited you can click on and they will allow you to go to those sites and fill out some general information about yourself. I have done each one of these sites myself and have gotten no harm, nor had to participate with anything else if I did not wish to. We were approved to recieve fundraising money from these sites for everyone that goes to these sites and signs up. (nothing should cost you money, unless of course you wish to purchase something)
I would like to thank all of you very much for reading my blog and on behalf of Elizabeth I would also like to thank you in advance for helping us to keep her on the field. She loves soccer so very much and I can not imagine her, if she could not play. We of course, will not let that happen! If you are not interested in participating in the survey or sign up for classmates.com or Upromise, you are certainly welcome to give a donation to my pay pal account and I will list you as a donating sponsor on Elizabeth's player site: http://www.kidssportsnet.com/soccer/sheraleemarshall/index.htm?1248934642 My paypal address is: shgama66@hotmail.com . Thank You Everyone!

Friday......fun stuff, because I need it!
Since my husband and I are both currently in the business of looking for employment, I thought I would post a few funnies that I found related to the job and lay offs. Enjoy!
^^ Hmmm, does any of my programmer and QA friends have any comments on this one?

^^ I bet we all can relate to this one, even some network administrators!

^^ I have no clue what this means. LOL

^^Okay previous co-workers, tell me the truth....
^^ Is this a model of the one who makes the most money gets the boot?
So now that I have finished cracking myself up. Just kidding, I was cracked a long time ago. I am going to try and go to bed! Have a great Friday everyone and an even better weekend!

Sorry, I am a slacker.....

Hey everyone, I have really been putting off this blog lately, it started getting a bit depressing. I need to re-think my heavy topics and only delve into them occasionally. I have not really been slacking off, as the title of my blog states, but been very busy. We are in the process of a loan modification and let me tell you, if you don't hire someone, you had better be ready to WORK, and wait and then WORK somemore! Of course Elizabeth has 2 and sometimes 3 soccer games a week to go and then her 2 practices a week, so that too keeps us going, going and going. Then, we are also both seeking employment. So now that he is home looking for a job, I cant sit on my butt and eat bon bons anymore, I actually have to do things. HUH! No fair! I hope he finds something soon so that I can start buying bon bons! (What are bon bons and are they good?)
